About Brad Davis

Brad Davis began teaching guitar at the age of 16.  Soon after he began touring with an R&B group in the Southwestern US. He still plays wineries, events and venues both solo and with vocalists.  He continued to teach others Guitar and take lessons himself.  He’s now been teaching for over 35 years, 7 of those years have been with Music Unlimited in Monterey, CA, now known as Monterey Music. Brad teaches beginning through advanced reading skills, Classical Guitar, Jazz, Blues, Flamenco styles and finger styling.  He has developed ways to help people play solo (guitar without a band). Brad has extensive knowledge to share to improve improvisational skills to accompany other musicians. He’s created innovative teaching tools  to help students  learn the neck of the Guitar and handy harmony tools such as the circle of 5ths.
